Meeting for the Museum Emerging Leaders of Texas (MELT) Affinity Group.
Museum Emerging Leaders of Texas (MELT) is a group of museum professionals, archivists, conservationists, and library science professionals who are just out of college and breaking into the career field, are transitioning to the museum field from another career, or who have been in the field for only a few years. The group offers support and networking opportunities for these professionals through quarterly meetings, webinars and workshops, and an active social media presence.

Ann Arnold-Ogden is the Executive Director of The Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, the designated arts grant-making agency for the City of Wichita Falls since 2016. The organization also facilitates the Regional Museum Network, a cooperative relationship of museums in nine North Texas counties.
Ann’s background in marketing and community development through the arts has enabled her to facilitate major city-wide projects, working collaboratively with the public and private sectors. She has served as a grant panelist for the Texas Commission on the Arts and the City of DeSoto’s Cultural Affairs Commission.
She describes herself as a wife, mother, arts administrator, casual gardener, and recovering journalist.
