What We're Looking For
 
Martin Museum of Art is looking for a Collections Manager that will assist the Art Director with the conservation and maintenance of all art collections. They will also assist in working with the Office of Internal Audit to research and manage the artwork on campus. Duties also include inventorying, organizing, and cataloging objects and documents in the collection's ad preparation and display of collections.
 
A Master's degree in Art, Art History, Museum Studies, or Library Science, one year of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. Three years of relevant work experience is preferred. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do
 
• Manage and maintain all aspects of collections care
• Conservation and management of all artworks managed by the Martin Museum of Art
• Update computerized records and research information associated with collection items and artwork managed by the Martin Museum of Art
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for collections care and management
• Assist patrons with inquiries and requests
• Provide scholarly and professional services to external audiences
• Provide technical and maintenance input into collections
• Monitor and maintain accurate records
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
• Ability to comply with University policies
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
