Want to learn practical approaches for building teen programs that feel authentic and responsive to young people’s needs?
Join Dr. Megan Wanttie for a behind-the-scenes look at how the Columbus Museum of Art (CMA) has worked to create programs that genuinely connect with teens. Dr. Wanttie will share how the CMA anchors their programs in collections and special exhibitions, how they partner with teens and community partners, and how they ground their programs in research practices that test, fine-tune, and evolve programs to make sure they feel relevant and welcoming.
You’ll hear real stories about what worked, what didn’t, and what surprised them along the way.
If you're just beginning to rethink your teen engagement or looking for inspiration, this webinar is designed for you to walk away with adaptable strategies you can try in your own space.
Megan Wanttie, Ph.D., is the Manager of Family and Youth Programming at the Columbus Museum of Art. She completed her Ph.D. in Arts Administration, Education and Policy with a specialization in Art Museum Administration and Education at The Ohio State University and has her B.A. and M.A. in Art History from the University of North Texas.
