Support the TAM scholarship fund
TAM is proud to offer annual scholarships providing financial assistance for members to attend the Annual Meeting. Your contribution to the TAM Scholarship Fund will give first-time attendees the opportunity to be a part of the largest gathering of museum professionals in Texas.
The Glenda Morgan Scholarship Fund
For over 30 years the Glenda Morgan Scholarship Fund has been used to underwrite educational training costs for Texas museum professionals including the expense of TAM Annual Meeting registration, travel, and/or lodging.
The Sage Scholarship
In honor of Sandy Sage's 15 years of service to TAM, last year we established a "complete package" registration scholarship to TAM Annual Meeting in her name. The Sage Scholarship is directed to established museum professionals with 15+ years in the field.
LGBTQ+ Scholarship (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual, Queer)
The LGBTQ+ Scholarship is supported by private donations from individuals and is designed to provide professional development assistance and support diversity.
TAM Affinity Groups
Affinity Groups are small-group networks within TAM that bring members together around shared interests. All eight TAM Affinity Groups offer scholarships to the TAM Annual Meeting.
- Art Affinity Group (AAG)
- Collection Managers Committee (CMC)
- Historic Site/House Affinity Group (HSHAG)
- Museum Emerging Leaders of Texas (MELT)
- Texas Association of Museums Educators’ Committee (TAMEC)
