Thinking about submitting a session proposal for an upcoming conference? Has your proposal been selected and now you are preparing for your session? Join Traci Manning of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society to discover the ins and outs of preparing your best possible conference proposal and presentation!
This webinar will walk you through the steps needed to make your topic pop; from crafting a catchy title, drafting a concise description, creating engaging visuals, and preparing for the presentation. Participants will also explore various proposal formats and presentation styles.
Be sure to bring your session proposal and presentation questions (just in time for #OMA2026 Call for Proposals, opening August 1)!
About our speaker:
Traci Manning is the Curator of Education at the Mahoning Valley Historical Society. Traci oversees outreach and educational programming for students, adults, and the general public; including curriculum programs, family and youth-based programming, special events, lectures, tours, and other public programs. She represents MVHS at community events and in various community groups. Traci is a frequent conference presenter and public speaker.
