Kenneth Bennett

Ken Bennett joined the Dallas Museum of Art in October 2014 and became the Chief Security and Operations Officer in January 2023. Bennett manages security, gallery attendants, operations, facilities, shipping and receiving, and carpentry functions for the institution. He oversees construction operations and is the primary liaison with the City of Dallas for all building maintenance needs. He spent 10 years in the United States Air Force, where he was responsible for aircraft weapons systems and security. In the private sector, Bennett has over 30 years of security experience, including director-level positions at casinos in Laughlin, NV; Las Vegas, NV; Lemoore, CA; and Florence, IN. He has seven years of experience as a firefighter, attaining the rank of Lieutenant, and over six years of experience as a Reserve Police Officer with the Vevay Police Department in Vevay, IN. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
