Professional Bio
Susan Zwerling works with museums and peer reviewers across the country as a MAP Program Officer and with the Core Document Verification Program. She was deeply involved in the redesign of the Community & Audience Engagement MAP Assessment and the creation of the new Education & Interpretation MAP Assessment. She authored AAM’s new Designing a Museum Volunteer Program Toolkit.
Previously, she was the Director of Education at the International Museum of Art & Science and worked as a consultant focusing on museum education, evaluation, and audience and community engagement. She has an M.A. in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
