Job Description:
What We Are Looking For
The Collections Manager assists the Martin Museum of Art Director with the conservation and maintenance of all art collections managed by the Martin Museum of Art, and work with the Office of Internal Audit with the research and management of artwork on campus. Duties also include inventorying, organizing, and cataloging objects and documents in the collections, and preparation and display of collections.
A Master's Degree in Art, Art History, Museum Studies, or Library Sciences; one year of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith is preferred This job description has been updated to a preference for a Master's degree.
What You Will Do
• Manage and maintain all aspects of collections care
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for collections care and management
• Assist patrons with inquiries and requests
• Provide scholarly and professional services to external audiences
• Provide technical and maintenance input into collections
• Monitor and maintain accurate records
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
• Ability to comply with University policies
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance

           The pay rate is between $16.80/hr and $20.31/hr. Our rate of pay will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
