Representing our Independence Trail Region, Adrianna Benavides of the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston will host this workshop as a part of our Statewide Informal Digital Learning Network. Join Benavides to discuss how she uses visual art and narratives in digital programming.

In this workshop, learn digital and visual literacy tools to develop the right fit of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) in your digital educational programming.  Longtime educator, Adrianna Benavides will guide you by exploring the artworks of contemporary textile artists and teach ways to collaborate in a digital space. She will demonstrate how to weave social studies and art through the history of quilting and dynamic compositions of collage all while collaboratively defining culture in 2022.
