Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager – Remote (Southern Region USA based)
Acoustiguide Incorporated, the leading provider of innovative audio and mobile experiences for museums, tourism, and entertainment venues, is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence within the southern region of the US.
This dynamic role requires a proactive and results-oriented professional with a passion for interpretive experiences and a deep understanding of the cultural and tourism sectors. The ideal candidate will be adept at building rapport, negotiating agreements, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs.
Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth & New Business Development (65%):

Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities, including direct marketing and email campaigns while actively managing a prospecting list.

Develop and execute plans for strategic growth, aiming to meet and exceed assigned sales goals.

Respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) with compelling, well-written, and visually appealing proposals.

Present Acoustiguide's products and services to potential clients via phone, web conference, and in-person presentations.

Develop budgets, price quotes, and negotiate contractual agreements to secure new partnerships.

Attend industry workshops, tradeshows, and networking events to stay abreast of market trends and identify new prospects.

Client Relationship Management (35%):

Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting business relationships with new and existing client partners.

Design business opportunities that allow partnerships to thrive, providing thoughtful solutions to meet specific client needs.

Serve as the primary liaison between the client and Acoustiguide's content, app development, and operations teams from project kickoff to delivery and the long-term maintenance of equipment and mobile applications.

Manage outstanding inquiries and proposals, actively converting them into contracted sales.

Collaboration & Market Insights:

Collaborate effectively with the creative team to ensure content delivery is on-time and on budget.

Continuously monitor market research and trends within the museum, tourism, and arts sectors to inform business development strategies.

Other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

Ability to think strategically, innovatively, and creatively to identify client needs and respond with thoughtful, effective solutions.

Outstanding written and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex creative and technical concepts to cross-functional audiences.

Exceptional verbal communication and organizational skills. Must be detail-oriented and proficient at multi-tasking.

A self-starter with a strong team player mentality.

3+ years of business-to-business (B2B) sales or account management experience.

Proven sales and presentation experience is required.

A strong interest in and experience with Museums, Tourism, and Immersive Entertainment, with an understanding of these markets and their trends, is highly desirable.

Comfort with exploring and learning about new and emerging technologies including use of AI

Understanding of Experiential Marketing principles.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Ability to travel to meet with and present to clients as needed is required.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 with adjustments based on location and relevant experience. Full benefits including paid time off and medical insurance are included.
