2024 Education Summer Internship 

The Dr Pepper Museum is seeking qualified individuals for its 2024 Education Summer Internship. Internship will be in the Education department at the Museum as part of the Interpretation team. The internship will be for a period of 12 weeks during the summer. Interns can do a part-time version for a total of 200 hours or a full-time version for a total of 400 hours. Both versions pay $13.50/hour.  

The intern will work with their assigned staff member on a special project based on the needs of the museum and the intern’s requirements. The intern may also be required to attend board meetings, committee meetings, and department meetings to gain a better understanding about how the museum functions.   

Requirements: 

• Working towards completion of or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in museum studies, history, education or related field 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills  

• Strong organizational skills 

• Ability to work simultaneously on multiple, diverse tasks, seeking help when needed 

• Self-motivation to achieve goals and complete projects individually and with groups 

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with people of varying levels of experience and expertise 

• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and special events.
