The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Bastrop County Historical Society Museum & Bastrop Old Town Visitor Center. The Executive Director is charged with the implementation of policies and business plans set by the Boards of Trustees and Directors. This includes fundraising, enhancing stakeholder relationships, managing staff, the museum and visitor’s fiscal health, and overall operations.

Type of Position: Full time, Hours:40/week on average. Salaried. Employment Status: Exempt. Schedule: Generally, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday Staff includes Visitor Center Manager, Collections Manager, Administrative Assistant and (part-time) Office Manager, Archivist, and Events Director/Visitor Center Associate
