Celebrating 50 Years of Texas Museums in Austin!
TAM will be celebrating its 50th anniversary with the TAM 2025 Annual Conference in Austin, Texas, from April 6th to April 9th, 2025
The roots of efforts to organize Texas museum professionals can be traced back to 1939. Shortly after the 13th annual Texas museums conference in 1974, the Texas Association of Museums was officially created.
Mark your calendars for this landmark event as we commemorate half a century of supporting and promoting excellence in Texas museums.

Do you want to have a say in the program content for one of the largest museum conferences in Texas? Join the Program Committee for TAM 2025 Austin! As a committee member, you'll have the opportunity to review and select session proposals, provide feedback to presenters, and help guide sessions to the finish line. Your contributions will help shape an engaging and informative conference for museum professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Must nominate by June 15, 2024 to be considered for the TAM 2025 Austin Program Committee.
